Happy Birthday, Colt!!

Well, I should have known I'd be too busy for a blog, but I'll try to catch up. Colt's 2nd birthday was the end of February, and we attempted to have a party in Amarillo on the Saturday before. Well, as the weather in the Panhandle goes, the wind blew 70 miles an hour and it snowed and rained. Although the sand wasn't bad up here, in Lubbock, people couldn't even see the hood of their cars from the dirt blowing. So. . .between the weather and illnesses, no one was able to make his party. I'm just glad he's not old enough to have been disappointed. Ryan took the boys to the black-out putt-putt golf place in the mall while I shopped, and then we took them to see Night at the Museum (really cute!). All-in-all it was a good day. We then celebrated Colt's birthday the next Saturday at Mom and Dad's.

While we were at Mom and Dad's, Ryan attended a men's day with Dad, which he really enjoyed. The girls (and Cason) all went to Danielle's baby shower on Sunday in Lubbock. She got a lot of cute stuff for little Addisyn. Little did we know, we'd be back down the next weekend to meet Miss Addisyn (next post). Well, I'll keep posting until I'm back up to date, and I'll try to keep up. 'Til next time. . .
