Welcome to the World Little Addisyn Rae!!!

We had no idea that little miss Addisyn Rae would be so eager to enter this world! For those of you that don't know, my sister, Danielle, was expecting and wasn't due until April 14. Addisyn made her debut 5 1/2 weeks early on March 8th, though, at 5 pounds and 18 inches long. It's my personal opinion that she will be just as dramatic as her mama (no offense, sis). She's pretty fiesty and already has mommy and daddy (and Gram and Daddy Byron) wrapped her tiny little finger. She not only entered the world early and quickly, her little life has been pretty exciting already, as Danielle was just a few doors down the hall from the little baby that was stolen in Lubbock. Dad also ended up in the hospital the weekend after she was born with kidney stones. What excitement!

Since Mom was preoccupied with Dad, Danielle and Tim asked me to stick around a few days, even with my two little hoodlums (Cagan and Colt). I was thrilled to be able to to help out and it always feels good to feel needed.

We're thrilled, though, to finally have a little girl in the family. She's going to have to be tough to endure life with 5 older boy cousins. It's been very difficult for me to not go crazy buying cute little girl things. It's probably better that I don't have any girls. I'd never have any money!!

It takes a while to post pictures, but I'm going to try to get a close-up of Addisyn and one of her next to Cason. He's still pretty small, but he's huge next to her.
