Good evening! Today was beautiful here in the Texas Panhandle, getting close to 70 degrees. I would have loved to have spent the day outside, but Colt's still not feeling well. Anyway, here's a reminder of the weather we've been having. This pic was taken about 3 weeks ago when we had somewhere between 6 and 9 inches of snow. Coley loved throwing snowballs at mom and dad, and Cagan only liked it so long as his hands weren't getting cold. Colt spent most of the time crying but threw a huge temper tantrum when we brought him inside. And Cason, well, Cason spent the whole time warm and cozy inside asleep in his swing. I think that, if you asked the boys, their favorite part of that day was watching Daddy throw Mommy down in the snow!!
Right now, I'm waiting on the chicken to marinate for dinner and listening to Colt laying in the floor singing to himself. That's pretty much what he's done most of the day. Bless his heart.
Cagan went to Amarillo with his granddad and uncle Scotty and Coley was at school, so it was relatively quiet around here. I probably should have taken the opportunity to do some much needed housework, but I just sat around most of the day holding a sick baby. It's days like this when I'm not listening to screaming kids fight over which Cars toy they want that I can sit back and reflect on how truly blessed I am. I know there's no other job on this earth I'd rather have than being a stay-at-home-mom, even when I'm cleaning up puke and up all night with babies. (Actually, Ryan's the one who got up with Colt all night the past two nights. Isn't he the best?)
Well, hope you all had a great day and hope you have one again tomorrow. Take care!

Can you believe it's been five years since I've seen y'all? Coley is so tall! But I knew he would be! Love you all!
